Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the peculiar reproduction health challenges confronting children and youths in Nigeria as well as determine the effectiveness of the mass media and the other agents of socialization. It is revealing that relative to the other agents of socialization in the nation, the mass media have fared better, in creating awareness on reproductive health and rights. Recommendations focus on strategies for enhancing the reproductive health and rights of children and youths in Nigeria through information, education and communication strategies.
